Assignment #5: Chapters 1-14
Keep adding two or three events per chapter to your plot line. Do not go beyond Chapter 14 as some students have not finished reading those chapters.
Write these events under assignment #4, highlighting the chapters and adding bullets for the events.

Look for pictures that reflect how you think each character looks. These can be current or past movie stars, current or past actors and/or actresses, or pictures you draw that reflect the images of the characters.
Create a collage with these pictures, putting the character's name under each picture. You can decide what materials to use for your collage. These will NOT be posted on the WIKI.
Be creative! Have fun with this assignment. It will be interesting to see how everyone pictures each character.
Due date: Wednesday, December 16.
Setting
The setting takes place on a island, at about 1900s. Chapter 1
In chapter 1 they told who all the main characters are, and they gave a physical description of them.
Also it explained how and why the people are going to Indian Island. Chapter 2
In chapter 2 all the people arrived at the island and got settled.
Also all the people were getting ready to eat. Chapter 3
In chapter 3 all the people were eating when a voice started to talk to them about the murders they did.
Also all the people were getting very suspicious of who Mr Owen is. Chapter 4
In chapter 4 the people were talking about the murders they did.
Everyone said what they did but Emily Brent. Chapter 5
In chapter 5 Anthony Marston died of drinking poison.
All the other people were thinking of the poem. Ten little Indian boys went to dine, one choked himself now there's nine. Chapter 6
Some people were dreaming of the murders they did.
Also they were talking about what killed the guy. Chapter 7
In chapter 7 some people were looking for the boat to get them back to the main land .
Also they figured out that the poem of the Ten little Indian boys were happening to the ten of them. Chapter 8
In chapter 8 they tried to find any place on the island the murder could hide.
Also the figured that the boat wasn't coming, they were going to stay at the island until they all die. Chapter 9
In chapter 9 General Macarthur died.
Also Mr Wargrave suggested that the killer is one of the people on the Island. Chapter 10
In chapter 10 the people were eliminating people that couldn't be the killer.
Also the butler noticed that there were only 7 china figures now. Chapter 11
In chapter 11 they saw that there was only 6 figures left.
And then Mr Rogers died of getting choped in the head. Chapter 12
In chapter 12 Emily Brent died of a bee sting.
Also the revolver is missing. Chapter 13
In chapter 13 they sat looking at each other the whole day.
Also Mr Wargrave died.
Almost finished! Add the last few chapters, the epilogue and the manuscript and you'll be set. Nice job on the chapter summaries. These events will come in handy when we do the time lines. Don't forget to put lines between assignments. The box above will do it for you.

1. How does a mystery novel differ from a narrative? It differs because in a mystery there is more suspence, and more cliff hangers. How might the title be a clue to the story? The name And Then There Were None means that then there were no one left but the person.
2. My prediction of the story is that there is a murderer in a house, and there are some people. One by one people started to get killed, and there were none. Hence the name And Then There Were None.

1. One type of foreshadowing," Mr. Justice Wargrave said with due legal caution: Beautiful weather we are having." This could be foreshadowing that something bad is going to happen in the weather. Another type of foreshadowing is, " With a slight lack of originality Lombard asked: Do you know this part of the world well?" This could be a foreshadowing that she will get lost. Another type of foreshadowing, " Philip Lombard said critically: Its a bit shut in... I like open country myself. Where I can see what's coming...." This could be a foreshadowing that people might not be able to see what coming and get killed. Another type of foreshadowing, " Vera thought: She looks frightened of her own shadow. Yes that was it-frightened." This could be a foreshadowing that the maid is scared because of something in the house that happened before.

Constance Culmington has illegible handwriting, and she knows Mr Justice. She also likes mystery.
Philip Lombard
Philip Lombard was a captian of a ship, and he has a small mustace.
Miss Emily Brent
Miss Emily Brent dosent smoke, and she is 65 years old. She is poor too.

Mr Isaac Morris was a bald man. His lips were very sinnitic.
